Question by GatorBait: My refurbished DELL printer cut on…it used to work, but I have used it recently?
This is copy, cut, and pasted from the other question…give it another chance!

I bought a refurbished DELL printer…now it won’t cut on?
What am I doing wrong…it’s probably something easy!
It DID work, but after not needing it for a couple of months, I wanted to use it and it wouldn’t turn on.

Additional Details

It won’t cut on is pretty clear.
The power button will not make the machine come on.
I tried to be sure every plug was plugged in securely.
I unplugged and replugged.
If a printer won’t come on, connecting it to the laptop is pointless.
Now can I get an answer?

One of the biggest problems that happen on the dell refurbished printers are that they can short the power supply. In one situation I had a printer sitting on a shared network where no one accessed it for a long time about 4 months. First set of people used it okay but soon shut off. We found it to be the power unit on the printer. In my case I had service support contract on the refurbished printer and it was replaced. But in your case usually refurbished equipment especially printers only have a 1 month to a year warranty.
