I have a Lexmark Z515 renovated to a seller of games that came with a rebate, then I had the printer for free. He came with two ink cartridges – black Lexmark Lexmark Color 17 and 27. I printed five 8×10 “and the quality is incredible. I agreed with Epson R1800 prints and 2400 – from 0-0. I find no information about the ink or cartridges, but an image is pro pictures disappear in about two years. If that true or is he misinformed or jealous? Any other reason why my prints are lower, if I can not see a difference. I have 20/10 vision or vice versa, regardless of your vision, if you’re 20 meters, which can see that most people see at 10 meters (but I’m not a visionary). better answer is:

Laser Printer Parts – What Are the Parts of a Laser Printer?
What are the parts of a laser printer? The main laser printer parts are located within the toner cartridge. There is an assembly of many components within the cartridge, and inside a series of chemical, electrical, and mechanical processes takes place. Parts include a primary charge roller or corona wire, photoconductor drum, laser, toner, fuser assembly with rollers, and discharge lamp. It is an electro photographic process which transfers digital information from a computer to images on paper in the laser printing process.
A primary charge roller, or a corona wire in older printers, projects an even electrostatic charge onto the surface of a photoconductor drum. A laser shines onto the photoconductor drum, and creates a chemical reaction. An electrostatic image is developed from discharging the areas that are negatively charged. The printer covers the rotating drum with toner creating text and images. The toner, which is fine particles of dry, plastic powder mixed with black or color, will stick to the places where the drum has an opposite charge and not to the places with the same charge. The letters and images are formed that will be printed on paper.
There is a fuser assembly with rollers which uses heat and pressure to make the ink permanent on the paper. The toner powder melts and fuses with the fibers on the paper making a finished page.
The drum passes a discharge lamp after the toner has been placed on the paper. This bright light erases the electrical image from the photoreceptor.
